Randomly Awesome Words

As to our lack of posts for the past year

It’s with regret that I realize my partner in crime and I have neglected to update this site at all for the past year. We are both very busy with college, and I’m deeply sorry to all of our subscribers for the lack of content.

Rest assured, I have plans for this website. Expect a slight change of format in the future, as well as a slight rebranding.

This site was started back when I was in 7th grade by myself and a friend. Can you bevel that? 7th grade! I’m a sophomore in college now! We were young, and we kinda misused the word “random”, it stands to reason “randomly” is also misused. I don’t really know how I plan to reconcile that with this site, assuming I want it to be factually correct. I pride myself on trying to not be wrong as often as possible, but also to admitting when I am wrong. “Randomly” is totally misused in our title.

  • Having unpredictable outcomes and, in the ideal case, all outcomes equally probable; resulting from such selection; lacking statistical correlation.

I’m no scientist, but randomness has nothing to do with our word selection. It was more “this is a lesser-used, fun to say word”. There doesn’t happen to be a word in the English language for that, which is a shame. Random does not fill that gap either and, while it’s no huge scandal, it’s kinda bugged me ever since I figured that out.

The long and short of it is, thank you for reading, I’d love to keep this site alive and I’m working to come up with new creative content and features, but you might have to wait a little longer; also, sorry for using “randomly” wrong.

  1. I can’t WAIT! Here’s to your awesome site that I definitely found randomly! <3
